extra knowledge

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

Alhamdulillah…a word that we should always say. As today I only had one class, very fortunate right? I would like to use this very rarely opportunity to write down whatever I got yesterday. Oh, before that, I want to let you know, why I keep on writing in English. I know there might be some grammatical error in my writing but, I don’t really care about that. I’m very grateful if you let me know where is/are my fault/s. That is because, I want to be familiar with English word, sentences and whatever related to it since I’m from international university. Bukan nak berlagak ye. Dah sebab in everyday life tak cakap bi pon. Because if I’m not used to it, macam manala nak jawab exam kan…

Ok, actually yesterday, Allah gave me opportunity to go for a kuliyyah fiqh sirah. It was mainly about kehidupan Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wassalam (s.a.w). If you had read my previous posts, if I’m not mistaken I’ve already told that I don’t really like to read but I like to hear the story from others. Of course from people that I can believe their source of story.

At last, he told us that, Rasulullah (s.a.w) ada 15 isteri kesemuanya. 2 orang daripadanya merupakan hadiah kepada Baginda. Rasulullah (s.a.w) tidak kahwin kesemuanya secara serentak tetapi one at a time.

For example, selepas 7 hari bayi dilahirkan, orang sekarang akan buat majlis cukur jambul kan? Tetapi kalau ikut sunnah, bukan cukur jambul, cukur habis rambut bayi tu. Lagi satu adat belah mulut @ tahnik.

Lagi satu mengenai kahwin zaman sekarang.

Syukran ‘ala kulli hal.

Semoga Allah memudahkan urusan kita semua.

my new student’s life

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

Assalamualaikum.

Everything starts here. I never thought of becoming a pharmacist one day. It is just like out of the blue I got a call from DOSP that day. He asked me whether I want to accept the offer or not. I was puzzled to hear the news. That time I asked him a lot of questions. Really. That time I thought I wanted to reject the offer. Because I really want to pursue in allied health sciences hoping that I will get optometry course. Then the uncle (maybe) told me if I need some time to think about this matter. So, I told him tomorrow I will call him back to let he know what my decision was.

And now, here I am. You surely know what my decision is right? I’m not a good person and I’m not so good in sciences. Actually, I really wanted to take account class during my secondary school but my father told me not to do so. So, I end up entering science classes. I tried my very hard to understand the hard ever science subject which is biology. I like to know about our body but I really hate the exam! But now, whether I like it or not I really have to like it by hook or by crook!

There are really a lot of differences in style of learning during degree from foundation. During my foundation, it was more or less like secondary school style. You have your own textbook, the teacher will explain very detail until you understand, give some exercises and you can easily meet them anytime. However, it is very and totally different in university! You don’t have the textbook, you have to find the book by your own, the lecturers speak extremely very fast, you have to do some exercises by your own, you have to make an appointment with the lecturer’s PA if you want to meet them and you never know how the exam question is! Totally different right?

Since I’m from international university, the feeling and situation here is just like you went to overseas. The lecturers itself are from various country. Nigeria, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Yemen, and Indonesia. The first class with them was, what are they trying to say? Especially lecturer from Yemen. But after I had several classes with them, finally I can understand their words.

For you guys who will be a degree student next year or anytime, at first maybe you will think about changing your own course or your subject is too tough, or your schedule is too pack, you have no time to have some fun, you will suddenly worry if you don’t get a job after you finish your degree and so many other worrisome. But, I believe that, time will change everything. You just have to enjoy your study time. Enjoy your study time doesn’t mean you can neglect your study and always having some fun. You know what I mean right? Use and manage your time wisely. And always seek forgiveness and help from Allah. Believe in Him.

Thanks for reading and hope you get some benefit from it. ^___^

Until we meet again.
